Travelling polyurethane foam sprayer - with several nozzles travelling on one transverse rail

An appts. for spraying polyurethane foam in a layer on a sub-base, e.g. to form a frost-insulating layer between a sub-base and a road topping, comprises a transverse guide rail on which two or more spraying nozzles move; the control system ensures that, when one spraying nozzle has reached the end of its travel, the adjacent nozzle commenced its spraying travel away from the same point, while the first nozzle returns along its path, without spraying. By using several nozzles travelling on a single transverse guide rail, a large width of road can be continuously sprayed.
