<p>A safety tyre is of conventional body construction and contains stable balls, filled with air or with plastics foam, these balls are of elastic material, such as rubber or the same material as the tyre itself. The tyre is also inflated or may be completely filled with the same foam material. The tyre will not collapse on a sudden burst, thus causing risk of an accident. It also possesses sufficient riding ability after a puncture to enable the vehicle to travel considerable distances.</p> |
