<p>New disperse anthraquinone dyestuffs, free from sulphonic and carboxylic acid gps. are of formula (I): (where A' and A2 are each 2-6 C alkylene, X is a (substd) hydrocarbyl gp. n = 1 or 2, and p and q are integers, such that (I) contains >=1 COOX). (I) are used for dyeing, slop pad dyeing or printing of synthetic textiles, esp. aromatic polyesters, opt. mixed with cellulose. (I) can also be used for dyeing polyamides. For polyester/cellulose textiles, (I) can be used in conjunction with reactive dyes. They are also suitable for bulk colouring of synthetic materials and for transfer printing.</p> |
