(Also in Division H1I The invention comprises a reactive obstacle for an electric pin table. The obstacle 6 is supported on a steel rod 5 passing through an aperture in the playing surface and is housed in the fitting 5 which has an electromagnetic winding surrounding a tubular iron or mild steel core 4. A port at the bottom of the core accommodates the frusto-conical enlargement of the rod secured to a magnetisable mild steel disc 7, which under rest conditions is urged by the blade 9 of a snap-action switch against the base 8 of the fitting. The rod is then vertical and clear of the core and contact 9a is clear of contact 12. In the displaced position shown, the switch contacts 9a-12 are closed, the electromagnetic winding is energised and the disc 7 is drawn towards the core 4 re-establishing the obstacle in its rest position with displacement of the ball B. |
