A toy water jet plane comprises a floating body 16 having a fluid passage way 44 open at the rear end, air supply means 22, 24 and water supply means 24 to the fluid passage way, and a motor-driven screw 42 housed in the fluid passage way, whereby air and water are stirred by the screw to form air bubbles, and bubble-carrying water streams are ejected by the screw from the rear of the toy to propel the toy. A lamp 48 may be provided at the water exit within a red translucent casing 46 to simulate jet flames. The motor may be driven by batteries contained within or without the toy. The body shape may be that of an airplane, rocket, ship, submarine, automobile or an animal, and a plurality of water ejecting means may be used. |
