<p>The eye dropper is used in conjunction with a capsule containing a single dose of liquid. It is funnel-shaped, the larger portion being downwards and profiled to fit the eye-ball of a patient. The smaller top portion ha a cavity, designed to accept the nozzle of the single dose capsule. The dropper is fitted in place, preventing the eyelids from being involuntarily closed. It is held by the fingers of one hand, two opposing flats being provides for this purpose. The other hand is used to squeeze the capsule, internal grooves ensuring the liquid drops previsely into the eye.</p> |
