Aligning entry and exit guides in rod mill - using rulers located in close proximity to the guides

The device comprises two rulers locatable on the mill stand on both sides of the guides and parallel to the axis of the rolls; a movable cursor for measurement on each ruler; and a wire engaged by each cursor for centering in the groove. The wire is orientated to the position in which the two cursors have corresponding readings on their respective rulers so as to enable the exit and entry guides to be aligned.
