A timer measures the time for a downhill run. Wires 11a, 11b attached to a pivoted lever 8 on the weight 9 pass through a handle (12) as the figure moves downhill. By braking one of the wires with a thumb, an operator can cause the figure to zig-zag around obstacles. The wires can also pull a figure back to retrace part of the course. Braking can also be achieved by suspending the weight from a wire by two aligned rings. |
