PURPOSE:To provide a light and strong axle, having a high resonance frequency effective in insulating noises, by forming a hollow shaft and a solid shaft integrally with each other and by applying a treatment of surface heat-hardening throughout the entire length of the hollow shaft, including the portion thereof that is coupled with the solid shaft by way of frictional press fitting.
