The machine has a long vertical tube with reinforcing bands at intervals supported above circular steel plates with central openings within which are held inlet air filters. Within the tube are rotor blades mounted in multiples of three, the blades in each group being staggered at angles of 120 deg. to each other. The turbine formed by the rotors pulls air through the ventrui causing a pressure drop in the throat of teh venturi. An air motor within the venturi is driven by the flow of air and provides the output energy. The machine is controlled by horizontal adjustment of the blades about a diameter through their ends. This is done pneumatically by compressed air from a compressor on the machine. |
