Needle loom for narrow goods

In the mfr. of narrow goods on a needle loom, a single weft is inserted in the warps and crocheted in place at both edges. Specifically, a single weft insertion unit is used, with a bonding needle located on either side of the fabric. The weft can be looped with itself at the edges with auxiliary needles, or the bonding needles which act independently of each other in an alternating action to build up the fabric edges. Process gives a firm edge to both sides of the narrow woven material.
