<p>The door is designed so that it can be used as a cupboard, for storage of articles in a compact space, esp. in a living-room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom or toilet in a small house. The door (7) is reconstituted as a wholly or partially enclosed cupboard. This involves a combination of at least one special door or flap (11), and edge media pref. running right round it, aligned vertically to it. Retainers etc. for articles are fitted inside the system, and fixture media are fitted to door and/or frame. The whole layout may be of about soffit depth and may cover only part of the door; or it may overlap and door, at least on one side. The double-purpose unit saves space, and increases heat and sound insulation.</p> |
