Radial pump with a double-suction rotor has a the pump housing formed in two parts with one coupling pipe (2) connected to one part (6) and the other pipe (3) in the second part (7). The rotor (5) can move axially between two end positions. The pressure side (16) of the rotor at the one or the other end position is fully and exclusively coupled with the pipe (3 or 2) in the other housing part. The double housing comprises a single unit with a partition wall (8) dividing its interior into two chambers to which the coupling pipes are joined. The rotor is attached axially immovable to the drive shaft and together when it is moved in the axial direction in the housing.
