1536078 Open-end rotor yarn take-off duct VYZKUMNY USTAV BAVLNARSKY 10 Oct 1977 [19 Oct 1976] 42044/77 Heading D1D In a rotor type open-end spinning unit a yarn take-off duct 2 has .an exchangeable inlet funnel 4 which is fixed to the body of the take-off duct by magnetic means. A ferromagnetic ring 5 surrounds the funnel 4 and is held on the take off duct head 6 by an annular permanent magnet 7 located in a recess of the head. As shown in Fig. 1 the duct 2 runs through the hollow rotor axis, other embodiments provide the duct in the spinning chamber cover and have various arrangements of magnets including one where a magnetic clamping ring interlocks with the funnel, Fig. 4 (not shown).
