Formwork for concrete tunnel base unit - is shaped as open-top box with curved sides and trough shaped base

The formwork for making prefabricated concrete units for the bottoms of mine shafts, is designed for making all the connections for cables, pipes etc. Moulding of the unit is carried out by equipment with a conveyor to carry the formwork under a frame inside which the core is lowered into the formwork, then carried onwards to the moulding station. The formwork consists of a casing (1) with removable core pieces (11) inside attached to its end members (3). These ends are secured between curved sides (4), forming an open-top box a trough-shaped attachment (9) is secured by electromagnetic securing fittings to the base.
