<p>The wind-surfer mast mounting has a cylindrical socket (14) glued into the board, into which the light alloy mast foot (12) fits. A flange (16) at the top of the socket projects above board level and has a peripheral groove for a circlip-type spring (21) with penetrations allowing the latter to engage in a groove (5) around the mast foot, below a stop flange (3). An omnidirectionally flexible link (6) e.g. a rubber block - connects mast and mast foot. An elastic safety strap (10) runs from the board to a ring (8) around the mast foot stop flange.</p> |
