1524420 Co-ordinate electric switches NIPPON TELEGRAPH & TELEPHONE PUBLIC CORP and NIPPON ELECTRIC CO Ltd 13 Oct 1976 [23 Oct 1975 12 Nov 1975 (2)] 42602/76 Heading H1N A multicontact sealed electromagnetic coordinate selector switch has an ordinate line of holes in a metal plate 31 in which are mounted stationary contact members 32 and movable contact terminal supports 34 which carry a common spring member 37 cut away to allow movement of contacts 36 into engagement with fixed contacts (32a). Co-ordinate coils 43, 44 surround cones 42 which may extend into the ends of member 32 or alternatively (Figs. 5, 25, not shown) act as fixed contacts. Covers 38 are seated to the plate 31 and flux return members such as shown at 41 may be provided. The movable contact supports 34 may also be at the centre of each row as well as the ends (Figs. 11, 15 and 22, not shown) and the supports 34 and members are insulated from the plate 31 by glass seals and may be connected to printed circuits insulatedly mounted on substrates such as shown at 40. |
