1511956 Triazole derivatives and their use as fungicides IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 25 May 1977 [8 June 1976 3 Sept 1976 8 Feb 1977] 23601/76 36614/76 and 05140/77 Heading C2C The invention comprises compounds of the general Formula I wherein each of R1 and R2, which may be the same or different, is unsubstituted or alkyl substituted cycloalkyl, unsubstituted or halosubstituted alkyl or unsubstituted or halo-, alkyl-, alkoxy- or nitro substituted phenyl, and each of Z1 and Z2 which may be the same or different is C=O or a functional derivative thereof (e.g. an imine, oxime, ketal, hydrazone or semicarbazone); or an acid addition salt or metal complex thereof. The compounds of Formula I may be prepared by reacting 1,2,4- triazole or a salt or metal complex thereof with a compound of general formula R1-Z1-CH = CH-Z2-R2. The compounds of Formula I are used as fungicidal or plant growth regulators and compositions as such are claimed and described.
