1508584 Valves VISCOSE GROUP Ltd 30 May 1975 [1 March 1974] 9281/74 Heading F2V A valve assembly for a pressurized fluid container has a valve body member 7 to which a cap 13 is secured so as to prevent access to the valve operating means 9, the cap being constructed and fitted so that neither it nor the body member can be removed to gain access to the operating means without visibly deforming the cap. The body member may be a hollow cylinder attached to the assembly by a screw thread 6 and provided with recessed flats 11. The cap may be of aluminium, fitted over the body member and secured thereto by a rolled flange 16 and by a rolled screw thread 17 formed in the wall 14 complementary to a screw thread 12 on the body member. The valve operating means may be a square end 9 on a spindle 8 which is sealed by a nylon ring 10. |
