The bed consists of a rectangular parralelopiped (1) with one large surface forming the top of the bed, and partially filled with liquid (2). The upper part of the bed section consists of a flexible membrane (3) made of coated fabric. On the inner surface of the flexible membrane are stuck lightweight spheres for instance made of expanded polystyrene (4). The bottom part of the spheres are immersed in the liquid (2) which does not completely fill the parallelpiped. The person lying on the bed causes the membrane to move as a result of the air between it and the top of the liquid (2). The spheres can be of varying diameter, and the membrane can be transparent or furry. The liquid inside of the parallelepiped can be stirred up by means of a device simulating waves.
