<p>A domestic refrigerator cabinet has a bottom sheet (11) carrying an expanded foam layer (12) on its underside and the front is flanged upwards (13) then downwards to enclose the flanged upwards portion. A groove across the top of the bent over part retains the bent edge (15) of a metal front sheet forming a magnetic joint with a magnetic strip (16) behind a flow sheet. In front of the metal sheet, below the door, is an L section cover sheet (14) with a ventilation grid at the bottom. The cover sheet has a series of tongues (19) which fit into a slot (18) along the bottom of the outer leg of the bottom sheet (11), wedging the lower edge of the metal sheet into the slot. The horizontal flange of the L section has lugs (20) which then engage ribs (21) at the bottom of the outer leg. The L section is then retained by screws through a bracket (23) each end, under the door.</p> |
