Compsns. are disclosed for cleaning food or fodder surfaces of plant or animal origin, contaminated with dirt and/or physiologically and toxically harmful materials, esp. hydrophobic or hydrophilic biocides. inorganic toxic elements, oily condensates, and other inert materials. The compsns. are non-toxic and can be added to aq. cleaning fluid used in hand or machine-rinsing the surfaces or materials. Compsns. contain >=1 of: anionic tensiders, nonionic tensides, sequestering agents, buffers, reductones, disinfectans, stabiliser and processing auxiliaries. Compsns. can be used for household purposes, camping and travelling, and for processing food for freezing. Method is simple and allows thorough cleaning. In an example liquid compsns. used in 20ml/4 1 water concn. for machine-0rinsing contains 15 g/1 di-Na ethylene dinitrilotetraacetic acid, 40 g/l tri-Na citrate 2H2O, 4g/l NaHCO3, 10g/l citric acid, 15g/l Na ascorbate 5g/lNa2SO3 8 g/6 'Tween 80' (RTM) 20 g/l fatty alcohol sulphate and 2g/l 35% HCHO. |
