<p>A device consists of a chamber (1) containing a tubular heat exchanger connected to the engine exhaust (6). Fuel and water are supplied to the heat exchanger by the inlets (4) and (5) and the heated mixture leaves by the pipe (12) and (11) and is delivered to the air inlet venturi pipes (13) where the depression created in the engine in let manifold sucks in the fuel and water mixture to mix with the air before entering the engine cylinders. The device is applicable to both spark ignition petron engines and to compression ignition engines.</p> |
