The control valves for the pneumatic suspension of the container vehicle are assembled from a series of similar components. The load sensing control valve also doubles as a manual control valve to alter the riding height of the vehicle. The overall cost of the suspension is reduced, while the valve design is simplified. Manual operation of the valves lifts and lowers the vehicle so that containers can be transported without loading hoists.
