<p>The rotating sliding wire catches are inserted into curved tubes for making spring loaded catches which are used for necklaces and bracelets. The machine for this purpose inserts the curved catch into the tube. The spring is inserted by a subsequent machine. The insertion operations are all carried out automatically and productivity is increased. The machine has to plates (7, 8) rotated about a vertical axis. Each plate has four working stations (9, 10, 11, 12) which are uniformly spaced around the plate. On this plate are formed are the sliding catches (1). These catches are inserted into curved tubes on another plate with four working stations. These plates are rotated to working stations by motors and timing systems.</p> |
