Fume extn. appts. using an extn. hood and also a blower which creates an air outlet path (o) 100 times greater than its air inlet path. Path (o) functions on the principle of a water jet pump, and thus carries the impure air towards the suction hood and away from the operator at the table. The blow pref. has a wide outlet nozzle blowing air over the entire width of the work station. A zero concn. of NOx is achieved in the working atmos.
