Flat item stacking mechanism - has stacking shaft below conveyor belt with suction devices at side

The mechanism transports and stacks flat items of sensitive material such as plastics, being preceded by a drawing calender and transverse shear. The latter is followed by an extraction conveyor belt with smooth surface, giving an adjustable amount of acceleration between items, while there is an air pressure supply above it. A further, air-permeable, smooth conveyor belt has suction devices on the top side of the bottom run. Below the conveyor belt are one or more stacking shafts with additional suction devices at the side, above which stationary funnel-shaped lateral guides are situated. The shaft has a lifting mechanism to adjust the level of the stack top to the desired height, where the suction device is most effective.
