Twin circuit hold-off brakes - with common gas spring and two membranes in same housing

The twin circuit brake system has both circuits supplied with pressurised brake fluid and incorporating pressure hold-off reservoirs complete with gas springs. For a simple lay-out the two reservoirs are combined into one gas spring and one spring. - The housing has two flexible membranes (19), with one at each end, and held apart by a single central spring (21). The space between the membranes comprises the gas spring. Both circuits are thus provided with identical pressure gas springs for simultaneous response.
