A method of making a net-like structure wherein groups of strands of paired groups of strands are periodically shifted to provide different pairs of such groups. Alternately with such shifting, each paired group of strands are rotated about an axis between the groups of such pair with some but less than all of the strands from each such group being rotated through an angle which is greater than 180 DEG but less than 360 DEG or multiple of such angle.
