Novel morpholine compounds of the formula: <IMAGE> wherein R1 represents hydrogen or C1-C4 alkyl, R2 represents hydrogen, C1-C4 alkyl, C3-C5 alkenyl, C3-C5 alkynyl, aryl-(C1-C4)alkyl, (C3-C6)cycloalkyl(C1-C4)alkyl, polyhalo(C2-C4)alkyl or hydroxy(C2-C4)alkyl, A represents straight or branched C2-C4 alkylene, B represents a divalent radical selected from the group consisting of -CH2-CH2-, -CH=CH-, <IMAGE> -CH2-O-, -CH2-S-, -S- and -O-, >D -E- represents a trivalent radical selected from the group consisting of >CH-CH2- and >C=CH- and C1 and C2 each represent 1,2-phenylene optionally substituted with one or more substituents selected from the group consisting of halogen, C1-C4 alkyl and C1-C4 alkoxy, and their non-toxic salts, which are useful as antidepressants and can be produced by various methods.
