<p>1503043 Shelving H LUNDQUIST 3 June 1976 [5 June 1975] 22894/76 Heading A4B A shelving structure comprises side walls 3, 4 each provided at its front edge with a reinforcing post 7, 8 having a series of vertically spaced apertures 9, a back plate 2 extending between the side walls 3, 4, a plurality of removable shelves 11 each provided at its front edge with a reinforcing rail 30, each shelf 11 being supported at its rear by hook-like members 12 selectively engaged in holes 13 in the back plate 2 and its front by fittings 10 detachably engaged in the ends of the rail 30 and selectively hooked into the apertures 9, and means for holding the back plate 2 against rear parts of the shelves. As shown, the back plate 2 is secured to the side walls 3, 4 by spiked fittings 51. The back plate 2 may comprise two panels fitted one above the other and having complementary V- shaped, interfitting edges at their dividing line 15. In another embodiment shelves are provided on both sides of the back plate 2, the side walls 3, 4 each extending to both sides of the back plate 2 and having a reinforcing post 7, 8 at each vertical edge. Shelves at the same level on opposite sides of the back wall 2 are supported by single fittings (12'), Fig. 6a, 6b (not shown) extending through the holes 13 in the back plate 2.</p> |
