<p>A drying device consisting of a large air distribution chamber maintained at uniform pressure by a ventilator driven by an electric motor which sucks in fresh air and air recycled from the material being dried, heats it (e.g. by direct flame) and blows it back into the chamber which acts as a large uniform source of air for several nozzles which direct the warmed air at uniform rate onto the strip material which is continuously dried. The drying device is located within the larger air chamber for economy of size.</p> |
