<p>The control circuit is intended for asynchronous linear motors supplied from inverters and has function generators receiving information about the motor required force, actual speed, actual air gap size, supply voltage and temperature. All these variables are logically combined with one another so that the linear motor operation can be controlled both as the operator requires and in such a way so as to avoid damage, such as thermal overloading. The control circuit has a fast response time and ensures that the maximum force is generated at any given speed and changes in thrust force can be achieved very rapidly.</p> |
