The capacitor is chargeable by an input signal by way of a linear resistance and has its voltage applied to two voltage-controlled switching elements, where it is compared to any one of two bias voltages symmetrical to the mean value of the capacitor voltage. One switching element prepares an output signal as long as the capacitor voltage falls below the bias under the mean value, while the other element prepares an output signal as long as the capacitor voltage exceeds the bias over the mean value. The bias voltages are adjustable by means of potentiometers and are delivered to the inputs of the switching elements by way of resistances. |
