The wire dispenser, hold in the hand and shaped like a pistol, as a reel (2) at the rear, from which the wire (1) passes forwards to a sliding block (4) which advances the wire in steps. The block is operated by a bottom (10) on the handle (9) so that the wire is advanced to a guide (3) with a channel through it which tapers to a calibrating opening at its delivery end. When the button is pressed, another block is moved against a lever (7) with a spring (6) attached to a locking arm (5) so that at the same time as the sliding block (4) is pushed forwards, the wire is locked against it by the locking arm. Between the sliding block and the guide block is a return spring (12). An adjustable screw (11) at the front limits the travel of the operating button so as to control the feed. |
