A pivoted framework 16, 17, Fig. 4, is incorporated in the bottom of a flexible hopper 1, Fig. 1, so that discharge of material therefrom may be controlled by moving handles 11, 12 towards and away from each other. The framework is covered by sleeves 20, 21 of resilient material. A catch 28, spring-biased into the inoperative position, holds the handles in the closed position.</p> |
