A dial gauge fixture is used to check angles. It is used for any value of angle and is accurate to 1/100 mm. The fixture has a bracket (1) with a base plate (1a). The bracket (1) also has a vertical plate (1c) with a slot (1d). It has a slide (7) which takes a dial gauge (12). The slide (7) is fitted to the vertical plate (1c) by a fastening piece (4). The piece (4) has a slide (9) to locate it against the slide of a slot (1b) in the base plate (1a). The dial gauge (12) is used to compare an initial setting using an angle bar with the angle of the face to be checked.
