A steering wheel ventilation system is for use in motor vehicles. It eliminates slipping of the drivers hands on the steering wheel caused by sweating in hot weather. It comprises a hollow steering wheel (15) provided with outlet holes (16) and supplied with air from the main ventilation system (10) of the vehicle. The air is fed from the main ventilation system (10) by way of a manually-adjustable valve to the steering shaft and hollow wheel spokes. The wheel (15) may be covered with a porous material to diffuse the air. The temperature of the air may be controlled by the normal heating system of the vehicle.
