Gramophone record storage cabinet - uses hinged sleeves to allow vertical storage of records with ease of access by vertical displacement and spacers

A storage cabinet for gramophone records provides vertical stacking with a gap between the holders. Two side frame members mounted on main frames (19) have a series of holes into which fit pins on hinges. The hinges carry envelope holders that receive the grammaphone records. Projections on the hinges ensure that as one holder is pulled to the front, one is separated from the stack at the rear. Pins (23) may be located in holes in the side members to limit the front position of the holders. Label holders may be fitted onto each record sleeve.
