<p>The heated rear-view mirror, for vehicles (e.g. cars, locomotive etc.), has a heating foil (13) bonded onto the rear of the reflecting surface (11) and connected at one end to the supply and at the other via a thermostat (16) to the other supply pole. The thermostat is mounted on the rear casing onto which the mirror fits. Alternatively the thermostat may be mounted directly on the back of the mirror inside a hole in the heating foil. Part of the supply leads (or heating part) may be NTC wire, or alternatively an NTC resistor may be connected in.</p> |
