Easily fitted tyre especially for motorcycles - has inner tube vulcanised to and between tyre rims to ensure airtight seal

Inflatable pneumatic tyre esp. for motorcycles has an inner tube placed into the otherwise open space defined by the tyre rims. Airtight fit of the tyre results as the tube is subsequently vulcanised to the rims along its annular surface. Used with vehicles whose wheels have relatively narrow felloes so that secure and easy fitting of the tyre is not always practicable. The tyre construction combines the advantages of a tubeless tyre with that of a tyre with inner tube.
