<p>The thrust controller for a watercraft water jet propulsory is for use in conjunction with a sideways deflector, being centrally supported from vertical pivots (22, 23). It comprises a rectangular casing (10) housing two horizontally, parallel, pivoted baffle (11, 12) set behind a central discharge nozzle. Baffles are cylindrical and set in opposition so as to meet tangentially on the jet centreline (29, 30) permitting position changes to give various degrees of nozzle unmasking, jet deflection vertically. Springs (27, 28) bias unit to slow ahead setting.</p> |
