The elastic shaft coupling transmits power in one direction only, having driving pins, spring guide bodies and coil-type pressure spring. The springs (5) extend in the peripheral direction and a all transmit the drive. The spring guide blocks (4, 6) have guide bosses (4a, 6a) for the springs on one side. To avoid shocks on unloading, the rear faces of the guide blocks can have metallic or non-metallic spring fittings. The driving pins (3) can taper outwards at one end for easier fitting and dismantling of the coupling in the radial direction. The taper portion is inserted from outside through the coupling flange and pressed into place.
