Geared timing unit with plastics case - has two metal cases for motor with gear transmission and earthing plate

The unit has a timer mounted in a plastics case. There is a gear transmission in a first metal case in line with the plastics case at its end; a motor in a second metal case supported by the first; and conducting fastening device passing through the plastics case and connecting it to the first metal case. The unit has further an earthing device for the motor (16), with a metal plate (50) supported on an outer surface of the plastics case (18) at its end not supporting the first metal case (22). The plate (50) is connected to the conducting fastening device (30).
