Ferromagnetic core with channels or recesses - with conductors produced in channels and recesses by electrolytic deposition of conducting material

In the transformer core design the channels and recesses which hold conducting material applied later, are made during the core production. They are electrolytically covered to a thickness necessary to produce the required conductor. Then the core is automatically ground on all sides, until the conducting material thickness in the channels has the required thickness. Windings so produced end in recesses where the conducting material forms blobs to which terminals can be easily soldered.
