Covered construction sites lighting installation - uses hollow slot light conductor with at least one optical inlet and light source attached to light conductor

A lighting installation is for the illumination of areas within construction sites enclosed by air-filled protective covers which contain a hollow slot ligth conductor having a cover made from an elastic foil material. A section of the inner side surface of the cover is coated with a layer of light reflecting material whilst that part of the cover facing the space to be illuminated represents a light transparent slot. The installation has at least one optical inlet source for the light with at least one light source attached to at least one surface of the hollow slot light conductor. The hollow slot light conductor (1) is made as a weight bear-bearing and form giving element of the construction (11) with the enclosing air filled protective covering and replaces at least a part of this covering.
