PURPOSE:To prevent the engine speed from sharply varying because of a driver's carelessness by permitting switching between the all-speed governor characteristic and the high or low speed governor characteristic only under a prescribed condition. CONSTITUTION:A sleeve position controlling circuit 17 transforms the aimed injection amount data D0 into the aimed sleeve position signal which is necessary for obtaining the injection amount shown by the data D0 and controls the driving of an actuator 7 so that the difference between another input position signal R and the aimed sleeve position signal becomes zero. Therefore, the control sleeve is position-controlled so that the injection amount according to the aimed injection amount data D0 is obtained. Therefore, the fuel injection amount is controlled according to either the all-speed governor characteristic according to the data pattern of the aimed data D1 output from the first aimed-data generating circuit 13 or the high or low speed governor characteristic according to the data pattern of the aimed data D2 output from the second aimed-data generating circuit 14. |
