<p>1468969 Bitumen/styrene-butadiene-itaconic acid copolymer composition ANIC SpA 11 March 1974 [12 March 1973] 10829/74 Headings C3N and C3P A composition comprises a mixture of bitumen and an elastomeric or elastoplastic copolymer formed by the copolymerization of styrene, butadiene and itaconic acid, the itaconic acid not exceeding 10% by weight of the compounds being copolymerized. The copolymer may be present in an amount 1-30% by weight of the composition. The bitumen may have a penetration of 20-200 at 25‹ C. and the copolymer may include units derived from acrylonitrile, isoprene, chloroprene, ethylene, propylene, butylene and cyclopentene.
