The charging circuit includes a transformer with co-operating soft iron cores 11, 12 fitted to the pump and the nozzle respectively. The primary turns T 1 of the transformer are supplied from mains connections 13, 14. The display device has light-emitting diodes and may indicate the quantity dispensed and/or the cost. The light guides have light emitting diodes and photocells.
