<p>Process comprises holding the perforated workpiece between an upper feed nozzle (I) and a lower support nozzle (II). (I) fits the bottom of a vessel contg. an Au salt bath at standard commercial concn. (e.g. 8 g/l) and appts. is provided to open and close (I) at will. A continuous current is circulated between the workpiece (cathode) and an anode placed in contact with the bath so that it flows slowly and by gravity through (I) and (II) which are situated above and below the workpiece respectively.</p> |
